Diaspora Global Foundation takes a holistic, rather than a traditional approach, to STEM education. Considering the different learning styles as well as the importance that culture plays in educational development, we target the learning of STEM by incorporating the process of practiced collaboration and synergetic systems. 

Our STEM program includes the practice and understanding of all the components that will be used by the children in the practice of technological innovations. Both the practical technological practices, but also the holistic development needs of that child to be able to fully engage in the STEM learning process.

We synergize STEM, "Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics" with the core foundational components, of reading comprehension, arts/ culture/music, vision/ purpose, and fiscal management.

By integrating the four core foundational learning tools we expand the child's ability to not only understand and apply knowledge, but to work from a point of vision, purpose, process and systems. We are working with the children from the inside out, creating an intentional environment for growth.

This system increases cognitive development, and core comprehension of applied processes. The children can then extract and apply relatable components that will support them in their individual STEM life long learning journey. We expand their capability by creating stimulating and relevant learning environments. Giving them the needed tools while allowing their
internal organic learning process to take the lead.

Understanding that Technology is a constant evolving visual art, allows for greater creativity, and flexibility in adaptation, innovation and collaboration in the learning of STEM, and the applied practical process.

The children will engage through the use of  LEGO Robotics system,  STEM Labs,
AI, AR, VR, automation, simple machines, 3D printing and inter-relational team building.

The addition of music alone in a learning environment "may expose the child to challenges and multi-sensory experience which enhance learning abilities and encourage cognitive development.  In particular, music can also engage cognitive functions, such as planning, working memory, inhibition, and flexibility. These functions are known as executive functions (EF)".
